A proud Haitian-American and Philadelphia native, Rev. Joseph serves as Senior Pastor of Zion Community Church and has led transformative initiatives at the intersection of faith, social justice, and human services. With a career spanning over a decade in nonprofit leadership and HR strategy, she is also the founder of Jennifer Joseph Enterprises, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to leadership development and career empowerment.

Before joining the House in 2015, McClinton served as a public defender and later became Chief Counsel to the House Democratic Caucus—the first African American woman to hold that role.
